The empowering tale of a knight who emotionally sheds the only identity he’s ever known to discover his true self, from writer Grégoire Laforce and illustrator Charlotte Parent Fro m the moment he was born, all Milo has ever known is knighthood. He eats, sleeps, and breathes it every moment of his life, never taking his armor off even for a minute. After all, Milo lives in the shadow of generation upon generation of knights before him and feels duty-bound to defend his colony should a dragon ever attack. But while training one day, rain begins to fall and eventually turns Milo's armor to a pile of rust, leaving the young knight weakened and unable to move. It isn't until a chance encounter with a court jester, who helps him shed his armor and lay down his spear, that Milo has his first taste of freedom. Show more
