How to Adjust & Safe Design: To tighten the collar, pull both ends with the metal hardware in opposite directions at the same time. To loosen, simply slide the knots apart. The collar only tightens if both ends are pulled at the same time, reducing the chance of accidental tightening. The two knots are not fixed, meaning if the collar gets caught on something, it can loosen and allow your dog to slip out safely. This is also why we do not recommend attaching a leash to the collar.
