Mimosa is an Italian vegetable-tanned leather with warmth, movement and visible depth. Sourced from Conceria Montana in San Miniato, it carries a soft natural sheen and a distinctive pull-up effect: as the strap bends around the wrist, lighter undertones emerge, creating a subtle two-tone character that changes with the light. Rather than presenting a flat, perfectly uniform colour, Mimosa celebrates tonal variation. Its rich surface gradually records daily wear through gentle shifts in colour and small marks, allowing the leather to develop a more relaxed, individual character over time. The result is expressive without becoming overly rustic, bringing warmth to both vintage and modern watches. Finished in Monves’ slim 2.2mm profile, Mimosa features our double-up construction, allowing the leather’s character to continue onto the side that meets the wrist. An almond-shaped tip, clean pin buckle and quick-release spring bars complete the design. Rich yet versatile, Mimosa gives the watch an inviting sense of depth from the first wear.
