It's in the room, lit, completely visible, and the clarity is exactly what stops it registering. Transparency reads as harmless. Light passes through, the edges disappear into whatever's behind them, and the shape stops being a shape.It only becomes a threat if you don't acknowledge it. Nothing here is disguised, it's just easy not to see, which is a different and more common problem.
