Cacti plants will do well when positioned in places with good light and not necessarily direct sunlight. If you are growing your plants indoors, position them on a south-facing window to help them access bright light. Watering once every ten to fourteen days should be adequate during the growing season. During the dormant season, the plants need less water. Before watering, a golden rule is to check the soil for any moisture.
