See Green recently started add ing these little brushes to their lens inserter and stand kits, so we thought we'd take the cue and offer them more broadly to people with DMV Scleral Cups. This is aimed at people who use the non-vented DMV Scleral Cup, which is solid on one end. With the vented ones, if you're determined to get it as clean as possible, you can use a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol or hydrogen peroxide and push it all the way into the plunger to give it a scrub. But with the standard Scleral Cup, it doesn't really work, or the fibers can get trapped in the closed end. I need to be very clear that this is NOT a product recommended by DMV to maintain their product, and you still need to replace those scleral cups regularly. But, I wanted to offer this as a possibility, and also just to raise awareness that what we can't see inside that plunger might be... pretty disgusting.
