The Mini Cricket Cage is a 12 quart, 16" Long x 11" Wide x 6.75" high gasket-lined plastic storage tote (shoe box size) that has been modified to be an effective habitat for the st orage of banded crickets, dubia roaches, and other feeder insect colonies. The Mini Cricket Cage has been modified to provide the necessary ventilation and security for maintaining banded crickets and other insect colonies like Dubai roaches or Red Runners for the entirety of their lifecycle. This insect habitat has two 2" air vents installed with added appropriate screening. The tops of the tote's walls have been lined with 2" of tape that the insects will be unable to cling to. A foam gasket liner runs the periphery of the lid to create an effective seal between the tote and corresponding lid. The Mini Cricket Cage can house up to 3,000 newborn pinhead to 1/8" live banded crickets and 1,500 1/4" to 3/8" feeder crickets. If the Mini Cricket Cage is used for maintaining crickets smaller than 1/4" in length, it is recommended that the air vents be covered with a breathable tape to prevent escapes.
