Jasper Morrison conceived the Glo-Ball series for Flos in 1998 around a single, quietly radical proposition: that a sphere of diffused light, stripped of all ornament, could be enough. The Mini Glo-Ball Table Lamp carries that idea at a reduced scale, with nothing lost. The globe is hand-blown opal glass, acid-etched to produce a surface that neither transmits nor reflects light directly. Instead, it absorbs and softens it, releasing a glow that reads as atmospheric rather than artificial. The effect is closer to a candle or a cloud than to a conventional electric fixture.
