When: June 15th, 12-4 PMWhere: Ruby Clay Company, 409 E 8th Street, Suite B, Tulsa, OKWho's Invited: Artists and Makers Ages 14 and up Makers start your engines!!! We've got a challenge for you, and this one is for the people who love all things mini! In this workshop each participant will be given one pound of clay and 4 hours to make as many miniatures as possible. All tools will be provided as well. Staff will be on hand to provide support and technical assistance. The guest who makes the most miniatures gets a free glazing kit to finish their pieces, and a $20 Ruby Clay gift card! Rules to Win: Each participant must complete their minis by themselves. They may not receive assistance from other makers or work as a team. Each miniature has to be a recognizable object or show some level of artistry. ie. The maker who uses their pound of clay to create one thousand tiny dots will not be crowned the winner. All miniatures must have been completed between the 12-4 PM class window. This class is structured "open studio style" meaning participants may come and go during the challenge's 12-4 PM window. Use as little or as much time as you need to complete the challenge. Win or lose, all participants miniature art work will be fired carefully fired in the kilns at Ruby Clay. The winner will be announced via social media and email. Participants will be notified via email when their miniatures are ready for pick up! The cost of this class covers one participant, ages 14 and up. Please purchase a spot for each person in your group if you plan to attend with friends or family. Ruby Clay Company and its staff reserves the right to cancel this class or a students enrollment at anytime, for reasons including but not limited to over or under enrollment.
