High-quality lower engine mounting for the manual Classic Mini and Moke, manufactured to the original drawings and specifications. This is a genuine-to-specification replacement, m anufactured to the original design, but not by the original supplier to Rover. These mounts are an important part of the Mini's engine mounting system. The correct rubber compound, bonding and angled metal plate design are critical to ensuring the engine is properly supported and controlled. The last Rover-type mounts supplied were often poor-fitting reproductions, with incorrectly positioned mounting holes and poor-quality rubber. The additional cost of this mount is in the correct specification rubber, proper rubber-to-metal bonding and accurately formed metal plates in the correct angled configuration. It may be surprising just how much these small engine mounts can affect the overall car.
