Standard inner valve spring bottom collar for Classic Mini and Moke A-Series engines. Originally, these lower inner spring locating collars were used with dual valve springs to hel p prevent the inner spring from wandering at high RPM, which could lead to spring breakage. Modern spring technology has largely overcome this issue. When using our C-AEA526 and C-AEA527 silicone wire valve springs, these collars are no longer required, as the springs are designed with a slight interference fit that provides friction damping and keeps the inner spring correctly located.
