The thickness of all USA Pans are selected to allow for even h eat distribution and maximum pan life. A unique feature of each pan is its corrugated design which maximizes the pan's strength and prevents warping, denting and other effects of everyday use. The corrugation also minimizes surface contact which insures evenly baked products that are easily released. USA Pans are coated with Americoat, an FDA approved, proprietary silicone coating. It provides a clear, non-stick, environmentally friendly, non-toxic baking surface, specially formulated for superior baking. Americoat does not contain PTFE's or PFOA's. Try this recipe: Apple Streusel Mini Muffins Ingredients 2 cups all-purpose flour1 cup sugar3 teaspoons baking powder1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt2 eggs1 cup sour cream1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted1 1/2 cups chopped, peeled tart applesTOPPING:1/4 cup sugartablespoons all-purpose flour1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon2 tablespoons cold butter or margarine DirectionsIn a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. In another bowl, beat the eggs, sour cream and butter. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in apples. Using a USA PAN™ 24 Cup Mini Muffin Pan, fill greased or paper mini-muffin liner two-thirds full. For topping, combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
