4"x6" original cyanotype on premium watercolor paper, matted to 5"x7" and framed in 5"x7" solid wood frame. Frame can be displayed on a tabletop or hung on the wall (wall mount hardware included). This one of a kind cyanotype was printed with sunlight and made from Queen Anne's Lace that I harvested along the country roads surrounding our farm. Art is shipped from Saxapahaw, NC. About the cyanotype process: Cyanotype is a centuries-old photographic process that uses sunlight and a UV-sensitive chemistry to create “blue prints” of images on paper or fabric. When sunlight hits paper that has been painted with the UV-sensitive solution, everything exposed to the UV light turns a deep Prussian blue after being rinsed in water, and anywhere that was blocked from the light turns white/light blue.
