Fits 3 and 4-synchro gearboxes except for rod change types which use GAE191. This switch replaces the plug on the front of the remote-shift transmission case. It is triggered inter nally by the shift linkage when reverse is selected. This must be fitted with an insulating fibre washer and a small plug 22G351 in the gearbox to activate the switch---the original washer 2K7914 is no longer available but 1B3664 can be used although the internal hole is slightly to large.So to get this to work you will need the following parts: GAE131- Switch 22G351- Plunger 1B3664- Washer Show more
