This pad is made from a composition of rubberised horse hair and is very durable. The pad is glued to the squab frame and then needs to be trimmed to follow the outer edge of the f rame. The white wadding material is then laid over this edge and softens the edge of the pad before the seat cover is fitted. To aid seat fitting, we recommend cutting a strip off the plastic bag that your seat covers were packed in and lay over the wadding. This will help the seat cover to slide easily over the padding.
