You either love it or you hate it! Vegemite is certainly an iconic Australian food that creates a lot of passionate discussion. At Bits of Australia we are "happy little Vegemites" and we could certainly have our Vegemite for "breakfast lunch and tea". If you aren't aware of the Vegemite song watch it here. Vegemite has been around since 1923 and over 22 million jars of Vegemite is sold every year. Everyone has their own way of enjoying Vegemite and the one mistake that tourists make is that a little goes a long way. It has a strong taste. Put some on your toast with melted butter (that's my favourite) have it with smashed avocados or with tomato and cheese on crispbread. There are so many options! This vegemite jar is 20g in size and is an absolute must have for any Aussie care package or when introducing an international visitor to iconic Australian foods. Don't forget to give a jar to a new citizen. Allergens: refer to the packaging for full information. Made in Australia from imported and local ingredients.
