Most soybeans sold in bulk are imported or blended from unknown sources; these are something else: 100% Korean-grown and traceable to individual farmers under DN Food's real-name farming system, so the bean you cook with has an address. Grown high, tasting clean These beans come from the highlands of Jeongseon, Pyeongchang, and Yeongwol, where cold nights and warm days create a sharp temperature swing that beans love. About In 1994, DN Food was established in Jeongseon, Gangwon-do, as an agricultural cooperative corporation by Choi Dong-Wan and more than 100 farmers in the province. Since then, it has become a brand success model for many farmers. Currently, DN Food has contract cultivation with over one hundred farms, and it is a genuine slow food company that strives for natural fermentation. Cheongguk-jang is naturally fermented for over 30 hours, gochujang for 400 days, ganjang for 1,000 days, and doenjang for 2,000 days.
