This is a reproduction of a William and Mary period (1730) one drawer blanket chest with two false drawers. Applied moldings set off the three drawers. The sides of the case are do vetailed to the bottom and the box is supported by turned feet. The primary wood is walnut and the secondary wood is poplar. It has a hand rubbed oil/varnish finish.
