PRODUCT DETAILS Spearmint is an easy-to-grow perennial herb with a fresh, fruity flavour that is milder than peppermint. Its aromatic leaves are excellent for tea, drinks, desserts, sauces, and a wide variety of culinary uses. Plants grow quickly and can spread by underground rhizomes, especially in moist soils, so containers are a great option for keeping growth controlled. The leaves can be used fresh or dried for later use. Approximately 90 days after planting, spearmint produces white to lilac flowers that are edible and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators.
