This size 7.5 statement ring features an incredible stone, a minty green Saguaro variscite stone with a stunning black matrix and golden highlights. Variscite is the geologic cousi n of turquoise, as they are formed under similar conditions but have different chemical compositions. This particular material is dug by hand from a small claim in Nevada. I put a nice half round ring band on this ring and used 20 gauge silver for the backplate, so this beauty is built sturdy and ready to be an everyday statement ring! Handmade by me, Stephanie Stamp, under the sunny skies of New Mexico. As with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
