Miscanthus sinensis ‘Zebrinus’ – Zebra Grass Miscanthus sinensis ‘Zebrinus’, commonly known as Zebra Grass, is a striking ornamental grass with unusual horizontal bands of yellow and green across its long, arching leaves. The bold striped foliage gives this grass plenty of interest throughout the growing season, while its tall, upright habit makes it an excellent choice for adding height, structure and movement to borders. In late summer and autumn, delicate flower plumes appear above the foliage, adding another layer of interest. The stems and seed heads can be left standing through winter, providing a beautiful display when covered in frost and offering useful shelter for overwintering wildlife.
