Few live records capture the raw, untamed energy of hardcore punk quite like Evilive by the Misfits. Originally released as a 7-song EP in December 1982 before being expanded into a full album in October 1987, this record documents the band at their visceral best, with all the gloriously rough edges you'd expect from a live recording of this era. Released on Glenn Danzig's own Plan 9 Records, Evilive features a legendary moment in punk history — a cameo appearance from then-Black Flag vocalist Henry Rollins on "We Are 138," making it a must-own for any serious collector of the genre. This 2023 pressing brings that iconic performance back to vinyl, offering fans both old and new a chance to own a piece of punk history.
