Miscanthus sinensis Kleine Fontaine is a lovely compact grass that forms dense clumps of narrow silver foliage. The silver leaves have white midribs and turn to straw-yellow in aut umn. Summer to autumn Kleine Fontaine is freely crowned with creamy-pink feather-like blooms – the colouring changes in the light and as they mature. It is absolutely fabulous in drifts as part of lawn schemes, in clumps in cottage gardens, in pots, massed displays or along fence lines.
