Mists Over Carcassonne is the first cooperative version of Carcassonne, and players already familiar with the original will be able to dive right into the game. With six exciting levels, the game will guide you step by step through individual elements and rules, presenting you with ever-greater challenges that will test your teamwork! In this game, players take turns adding a new land tile to the board, expanding the landscape just like in the classic game. As the board grows, you'll still place your meeples to score points, but now there's a new threat: ghosts! These spooky apparitions will appear during the game, and it's up to you and your teammates to pacify them. Together, you must reach the goal tile by scoring a pre-determined number of points to win the game. But if there are too many ghosts on the board, or you run out of land tiles to draw, you lose! You'll need to cooperate well, showing each other your tiles and deciding as a team where to place them, especially in the later levels. It's a fantastic, tense new twist on a beloved game!
