This is a companion painting to Meadows & Moss, Inspired by a morning drive through the countryside of southeastern Ontario. These lovely rolling hills are bordered by a distant tr ee line. The overcast skies accentuated but muted the lush greens and created a mauve hue as the light mist began to lift at the distant tree line.
