The Mitchell Cannon is a 57in two-piece ash cue with a 9.5mm glue-on tip. It is a straightforward playing cue: standard length, standard snooker tip diameter, and an ash shaft rath er than the hardwood used further down the range. Ash matters here for two reasons. It is stiffer than the hardwoods used in club cues, so less of the stroke is lost to flex on a firm shot, and its straight grain gives the eye a visible line for checking alignment before getting down. The 9.5mm glue-on tip sits directly against the ferrule with no threaded fitting between, which makes the strike firmer and more repeatable than a screw-in tip. Show more
