These are single Mitchell snooker balls in 2in, available in black and red. Reds and the black are the balls most often replaced — there are fifteen reds in a set so they go missin g most often, and the black takes more shots than any other colour. Replacing one ball rather than a set makes sense as long as the replacement matches the set for size, and 2in is the smaller table size rather than full-size snooker specification. Bear in mind a replacement of a different material or grade will not behave identically to the balls around it, which shows up as one ball that runs a little further or shorter from the same stroke.
