The Mitchell Shark in ash and walnut is a two-piece cue with an ash shaft, a walnut butt and a purple flame design, offered in 54in, 57in and 60in. Three lengths from one model is unusual and useful: the same cue can be matched to a junior player, an average adult, or a taller player. Walnut is denser than the hardwoods used on club cues, so it puts more weight toward the rear of the butt and gives the cue a settled balance rather than feeling tip-heavy.
