The Mitchell Tiger is a two-piece ash cue at 60in — three inches longer than the standard 57in. That extra length is the reason to choose it: a taller player bridges further from t he ball, and a cue that is proportionally short forces the back hand past the balance point, which costs control at the end of the stroke. Ash is the traditional shaft timber for snooker and English billiards, with a straight, visible grain that gives a player a line to sight along when checking the cue is square behind the ball. A 9.5mm glue-on tip is fitted, the standard snooker diameter, and the glue-on fitting puts the leather directly against the ferrule for a firmer strike than a screw-in tip gives. Show more
