Knitting Mitres: On the home page of my old website you can access my YouTube video which shows garments knitted with Mitres, as well a how to knit Mitres, secure ends and pick up stitches. The Capelet is knitted firstly as the 25 Mitre back square, stitches are picked up from this panel and worked as two front in Basket stitch, resulting in a large Vee shaped Cape/ Capelet. The final Mitres trim the front edges of both fronts. Colourway options: With 11 colours some colours require 10g others up to 70g within the Mitre Panel. The front bands are often worked in two different colours, I have included images of Tempest, Turkish, Aubergine and Wine. The colours shade from dark to light, except the Currawong, shading runs right to left.
