Thoughtfully assembling different elements, artist John Gardner creates a backdrop of turquoise, converging all his components in the middle. A grid creates a secondary layer, prov iding structure and form. Red and pink rays spread out from a wheel, its shape echoed in a blue circle partially hidden by a pillar of a striped gray print. Part of John's newest series of mixed media works meticulously hand cut from vintage paper and stitched with thread on heavyweight paper.
