Created by Onora Casa, a Mexico City-based home goods studio balancing tradition and modern craft. Impeccably hand carved and painted gourds from the small town of Pinotepa de Don Luis in Oaxaca. (Traditionally, these small gourds are split in half and used as drinking cups.) Each ornament is one of a kind and individually etched with depictions of local plants and animals. The purchase of handcrafted products contributes to the preservation of endangered artisanal traditions and creates a positive impact on the lives of many artisans and their families.
