MK5 Thunderflash The MK5 Thunderflash is a single report (124 db @ 15 ft) Thunderflash device. Function/Operation is via a twist safety cap friction system, when lit the fuse burn time is 6 to 7 seconds so must be thrown immediately into a predetermined safe area. The MK5 construction is a thick cardboard tube which is fractured when fired giving off a light smoke output.
