Monday, January 199:00 am - 12:00 pmAges 4-11 (Scroll down to register.) Join your friends for a "dreamy" morning of on-trend crafting this MLK Day! At this three-hour make-and-take workshop, Makers will explore the fun of acrylic pour painting, using a wide variety of vibrant pre-mixed paints, to create their very own masterpiece on canvas. With easy demonstrations from our friendly instructors, kids can experiment with different pouring techniques and discover a new way to make art. Additionally, Makers will craft a dreamcatcher wall hanging and/or yarn clouds, as pictured. Our usual reminders: Please dress for a mess—wear clothes (including shoes) that you don’t mind getting permanent paint on them. Leave keepsake jewelry and expensive watches at home. This event is a drop-off experience; however, we understand that some kids need a parent in the room (or in our waiting area), and we certainly allow this! All snacks and supplies are provided. Gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, and gelatin-free snack options are always on hand. Text Jenni at (202) 674-5202 with any questions.
