This large oven mitt fits a very diverse size of hands The quilting process may cause the oven mitt to become stiff when it first arrives. Through use and washing the oven mitt will become more plyable. The center fabric is a product called Insul-Bright. Insul-Bright consists of polyester fivers needle- punched through a nonwoven substrate and throught a reflective metallized film. The needled material breathes and will not break down with washing. The fiver resists conduction while the reflective metalilized film resists radian energy. The energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source. Machine wash and tumble dry.
