Although they can be thinned to meet your needs, there is no need as they can be used straight from the bottle. The MMP Gloss Black Base is what allows the chrome to "reflect" like a mirror. The smoother and glossier the Gloss Black or Gloss White base is applied, the better the effect will be. Gloss White base will result in a brighter finish. Applying MMP Chrome, Gold or Brass finish requires a different technique than using standard MMP paints.
