In coastal locations, furniture should be washed with a mild soap and rinsed frequently to remove salt deposits. A solution of 1:1 white distilled vinegar and water can be used to help remove water spots. Then rinse with water and dry with a soft cloth. Metal furniture can be waxed twice a year, or as needed, to protect the finish. Furniture should always be cleaned first. Aluminum Touch-Up kits are available for minor surface scratches. Do not use any harsh solvent-based, abrasive or stainless steel cleaners. Travertine Clean your stone top on a consistent and regular basis: Brush off loose dirt and dust. Create a cleaning solution of warm clean water and mild soap. Use a soft, clean cloth (one that won’t bleed color ) or sponge. Rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed. Dry thoroughly after cleaning with a clean cloth to prevent water spots.
