Product Description The MOBB PushPal is a pair of adjustable push-handle extensions for wheelchairs, transport chairs and rollators. They adjust anywhere from 0° to 180°, so the person pushing can set the handle angle to suit their own height and reduce pressure on their back. Made from high-strength aluminum alloy, they fit most chairs, install in three steps and are rated to 300 lbs. Supplied as a pair. Wheelchair push handles are set at a fixed height, chosen by the manufacturer for an average adult. Anyone taller has to stoop to reach them, and over a long push that stoop becomes lower back pain. Anyone shorter pushes with their arms raised, which tires the shoulders. The person doing the pushing is often an older spouse or a family carer, and their back is frequently the weakest link in the arrangement. PushPal makes the handle position adjustable instead of fixed. The full 0° to 180° range means the handles can be angled up for a taller pusher, left level, or angled back — and changed again when a different family member takes over. That single adjustment is what allows a carer to push upright rather than bent forward. They are made from high-strength aluminum alloy, so they add negligible weight, and fitting takes three steps with no specialist tools. Key Features Adjustable 0° to 180° A full range of handle angles, so the pusher sets the position to their own height instead of stooping to a fixed handle. Reduces Back Strain on the Pusher Pushing bent forward over a long distance is what causes carer back pain. Raising the handles lets the pusher stay upright. Fits Most Wheelchairs, Transport Chairs and Rollators Not tied to one chair — the same pair can move between a wheelchair and a transport chair, or to a replacement chair later. High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Strong enough for a 300 lb rating while adding negligible weight to the chair. Installs in Three Steps A straightforward fitting process with no specialist tools, and just as easy to remove or transfer. Supplied as a Pair Two pieces per package, one for each handle — no need to order twice. Why the Carer’s Posture Matters In most households the person pushing the chair is an older spouse or an adult child, and they are doing it several times a day. A handle height that forces them to stoop turns every trip into a loading exercise for their lower back, and carer injury is one of the most common reasons a home care arrangement stops working. Raising the handle to a height where the pusher stands upright, elbows slightly bent, changes the mechanics entirely — the push comes from the legs and body weight rather than from a bent back. Over months of daily use that difference is substantial. Because PushPal fits most chairs and adjusts freely, it also handles the case where more than one person shares the pushing. Set it once for each user, or adjust between them in seconds. Specifications Specification Details SKU MHPHPAL Brand MOBB Home Health Care Best For Taller carers who have to stoop to reach standard wheelchair push handles Households where more than one person pushes and handle height needs to change Anyone experiencing lower back pain from pushing a wheelchair or transport chair regularly Rollator users who want an adjustable handle position without replacing the frame Why Choose This Product A full 0°–180° adjustment range, so the handles suit the pusher rather than the other way round Directly targets carer back strain, which is one of the main reasons home care arrangements break down Fits most wheelchairs, transport chairs and rollators, and moves between them; supplied as a pair Frequently Asked Questions What is a PushPal for?It raises and angles the push handles on a wheelchair, transport chair or rollator so that the person pushing does not have to stoop. Standard push handles are fixed at a height chosen for an average adult, so taller carers bend forward over every push, which causes lower back pain over time. PushPal makes the handle position adjustable through a full 0° to 180° range. Will it fit my wheelchair? It fits most wheelchairs, transport chairs and rollators, attaching to the existing push handles. Because handle tube diameters vary between manufacturers, check the diameter of your handles before ordering if your chair is an unusual or older model. How do I set the right angle?Stand behind the chair as you normally would to push it, upright with your shoulders relaxed. Adjust the handles until you can grip them with your elbows slightly bent and without leaning forward. If you find yourself stooping, raise them further. If your shoulders lift, lower them. Re-check after a longer push, as fatigue reveals a poor setting quickly. Is it sold as a pair?Yes — two pieces per package, one for each handle. You do not need to order two.
