The only Mod Podge formula specifically designed for projects that go in the dishwasher. Standard Mod Podge is water-resistant but not waterproof — put it in the dishwasher and the heat and detergent will break the seal down over time. Dishwasher Safe is a different formula, engineered to bond hard to glass, ceramic, and metal and survive top-rack washing once fully cured. Apply in 2–3 coats. The critical step is the cure time: 28 days before the item goes anywhere near water. Worth doing properly — projects made correctly have lasted years of regular dishwasher use.
