A layer cake contains forty-two pieces of fabric per pack, and each piece is ten inches square. Moda fabric ranges have up to forty different fabrics in a range, and there are forty-two pieces in a layer cake. You will receive at least two duplicates from the fabric range; however, when a fabric range has fewer than forty fabrics, you will receive more duplicates to make forty-two pieces in total. Designer Janet Clare recalls seeing delphiniums for the first time during a joyful afternoon with her close friend Rosie, following a lovely lunch in a garden setting.
