Product Description The Blacks Creek Model 2500 sits right in the sweet spot of the Blacks Creek lineup, more power and capacity than the entry-level 1250, at a more accessible price point than the full commercial 3000. This is the machine for the serious firewood producer who has outgrown a basic splitter and needs a real processor that handles large diameter logs at genuine production volume. Powered by a 35HP Briggs and Stratton Vanguard engine with electric start, the Model 2500 drives a tandem hydraulic pump at 22/4.5 GPM through a 28-gallon reservoir with sight and temperature gauge, so you always know exactly what the hydraulic system is doing. The 23-inch harvester bar with automatic electric chain lubrication cuts logs up to 23 inches in diameter and 16 feet long cleanly and consistently, while the 4 x 24-inch splitting cylinder and adjustable 4-way hydraulic wedge splits blocks from 12 to 24 inches in 2-inch increments. The 12-foot hydraulic chain in-feed log deck, hydraulic saw bar sweep, and hydraulic log clamp work together to keep logs feeding, positioning, and cutting with minimal manual handling. The integrated trash rack keeps the work area clean and organized during production. Electric start means the engine fires up fast and reliably every single time. When your operation grows, the Model 2500 grows with you, available options including a 40HP EFI engine upgrade, triple hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil cooler, double joystick, live log deck, and more let you build the machine your operation needs. Ideal For: Serious firewood producers, small to mid-size firewood businesses, farmers, and contractors who process regular volumes of large diameter logs and need a step up from an entry-level processor without the full cost of a commercial flagship machine.
