NEW for Summer 2025 - Grapnel Anchor! Scale anchors in the style of Danforth, Modern Spade, CQR, Delta, Bruce and now Grapnel. These anchors were specifically designed for us to be FDM printed in our print farm. They encapsulate the most popular designs available for mass usage and are the ideal model to demonstrate anchor shape and parts.Obviously the designs are generic, and not intended to be a replication of any specific anchor. We have seen many instructors use a bed of sand to demonstrate the digging in characteristics and other aspects. Most of the models are approximately 100mm in length and fit perfectly in the hand. The CQR style anchor model has moving parts – we would stress that these are models – care must be taken not to force movement or disengage the moving parts. We do not recommend the usage of any of our equipment with unsupervised children due to the possibility of a choking hazard and these models are no exception. They are designed and sold as a training aid or display item and are not toys. Users should be aware that just like their real-life counterparts – there may be sharp points and moving parts. We have tried to find boxes to fit them in but in the end realised that packing them in bubble wrap bags was the most cost effective for our instructor clients.
