Originally released in 2016, Holy Ghost is the third studio album from Philadelphia emo favourites Modern Baseball. Produced by Joe Reinhart, the record distils the band’s sharp, e motionally candid songwriting into a tightly focused collection of indie rock, pop-punk and emo. The album is divided between songs written by Jake Ewald and Brendan Lukens, giving its concise 28-minute runtime two distinct yet complementary perspectives. Highlights include “Everyday,” “Wedding Singer,” “Apple Cider, I Don’t Mind” and “Just Another Face.” Released through Run For Cover Records, this limited-edition reissue is pressed on striking black-and-blue swirl vinyl.
