About Modern Madini "I was always a maker. Once I figured out how to stack the blocks, I was hooked. I wanted to nail the blocks together, paint them, make them art. Summers by our backyard creek, making rock sculptures was a favourite childhood pastime and now a visualization for my happy place. Once a maker, always a maker. I make, not only for a living, but for passion. 30 years later I get to live out “what I want to be when I grow up” and create wearable art day in and out. With my 2 hands. Not cheating by using a bunch of fancy equipment, just the 2 tools I was given. I do it this way, because it gives something back to me, my little dose of daily magic and it shows in the product.
