About the Product MODIPER® AS155 is a high-molecular-weight anti-squeak additive developed using NOF’s graft polymer technology. It is designed to suppress squeak noise generated by sliding and contact between plastic components and other materials. However, in case of resin with MODIPER® AS, the squeak problem can be eliminated due to the lubricant layer which is made by MODIPER® AS. Test method (Stick-Slip test) The two specimens (big and small) are prepared. Big one (Test material) is reciprocated and rubbed with small one by 3 times. The risk of squeak noise is shown by Risk-Priority-Number (RPN) which is ranked by the 10 stages shown below, (In case of RPN=1~3, it is categorized as No stick-slip risk). Test Results Anti-squeak properties of MODIPER® AS155 are shown below with the Stick-Slip test data between PC/ABS against each other, also between PC/ABS and PVC leather.
