This enables the rapid production of insanely tall objects, drastically reducing print times. I.e. the two meter tall bottle took only 17 hours of printing time (8.2 Kg 1.2 mm layer height, 2 perimeters – not a vase mode). Based on the BIG-Meter Modix Everest is based on the market leader BIG-Meter sharing gantry, electronic & heaters components. The BIG-2Meter was designed with a reinforced frame made of strong 4080 mm profiles (double the size of BIG-Meter) and therefore it prints well even without the enclosure. The included enclosure helps maintaining the internal ambient temperature. The bed is attached to the HIWIN rails installed on the Z profiles, stabilizing the entire frame while moving down during the print time.
