Boasting a maximum safe working load limit of 50 Tonnes, the MOD50 Modular Spreader Beam kit consists of a pair of End Units and a pair of Drop Links, with your chosen span made up of interchangeable struts, from 0.5m up to 4m, that are simply bolted into the assembly between the end units – giving you the freedom to shorten or lengthen your assembly at any point to suit different types of lifts. We suggest having the following tools on hand to complete the assembly of your Modulift Spreader Beam: Torque wrench, podger spanner, and ring spanner. Bolt tightening torque is 60Nm, 17mm spanner size is required. What top sling types are recommended? At LES, we suggest the use of textile slings, wire rope slings with soft eyes, or chain slings with small end fittings with your Modulift MOD6 Spreader Beam.
