Test the stiffness (elastic modulus) of your 3D printed materials with this precise device. This tester follows the ASTM D790 method for measuring elastic bending stiffness of mate rials. The device features an electronic contact sensor that illuminates an LED when the exact measurement point is reached. The suspended mass and lead screw come pre-calibrated with each device and are tested against a precision aluminum test sample to confirm an accuracy of within +/- 2%. Product includes everything pictured and is shipped fully assembled. Also includes aluminum test sample and a download link to the Excel based calculator.
