The Mogul lumbar and seat pad is a back and leg support system designed to improve ergonomics and comfort on Mirra chair. It is made with varying high-density foam specifically designed to complement and upgrade the Mirra. Our Mogul Collection comes in a variety of Boutique leathers and materials. The Mirra's seat has a pronounced downward slope for ones posterior and unfortunately a rather firm front frame edge. This frame can cause a great deal of discomfort under ones legs. Our seat cushion was developed with this in mind. We also took the existing mesh surface into consideration as well. The Lumbar is attached via a magnetic strap and will not harm the back surface of the chair. The thicker the back of the chair the less strength the magnets will have. If even more lumbar support is desired our large soft lumbar works great with the current system found on most Mirras. If you are going to use the two together first locate where you want the support and loosen the existing integrated mechanical lumbar so our magnetic strap can slide beneath it. Once you've done that simply rotate the existing lumbar knobs to the desired tension. Our Seat cushion has velcro that attaches to the underside of the seat to help keep it from shifting during normal use. All of the Seats and Lumbar Units have the same construction with the exception of the top surface. The Bull is the thickest and may add a little firmness or support. The Diamond Pleat is the softest of the grouping. The Mogul Collection Varieties: Bull Hide Leather is just that, 100% bull hides. It is matte in color and soft, but not smooth. The thick leather with its heavy veggie retannage keeps the edges looking great and the seat area will conform to your body's curves. This is our best selling option. Colors: Black Diamond Pleat is a quilted vinyl faux leather and a great vegan friendly product. Colors: Black Stable Leather is tanned in the USA and has mottled color for a gorgeous tonal range and a beautiful sheen to the surface of the leather.
