The flavor is rich, circa late 1800s, although molasses pulls were originally made by enslaved workers and had a far more bitter taste. The sweetness of these pulls is not cloying or overwhelming, the texture, rich, and so smooth it practically melts in your mouth. And, yes, these are made right by the sea, in a small coastal town where fisherman and visitors alike take the molasses taffy with them. Comes in a stand-up, reusable capsule with a lid.
